About UsThe Record Exchange, in conjunction with Doc's Used and New CDs, forms a small business dedicated to providing the quality of products and excellence in customer support that can only be found in the 'old school' of small businesses. When you come into the store, email us or call us or even talk directly to the owner of the Record Exchange, Richard Van Hart. We have four other support staff who are familiar with the processes of running the business and can readily answer your questions, or at least take your questions directly to the owner.

Music and Movies
We provide an extensive and constantly expanding range of services and products both new and used, quite apart from the basis of our store--the music. We have music in every possible genre and every possible formart, including tens of thousands of vinyl records and CDs, music video in DVD and VHS format and cassettes. We have music players on sale, with record players, the old-style gramophones, stereo systems, amplifiers and speakers. Our growing range of movies include hundreds of titles, new and old, in DVD and VHS format.

We also have a vast range of posters covering every genre, including movies, art and music (with some very rare and highly collectible promotional posters and bills) as well as a new service where we can create and print posters for you! Do you have a memorable photo you want in poster form, a picture you found on the internet which would look great on your living-room wall -- and yes, we can laminate, block-mount or frame any posters -- or would you prefer to have you playing electric guitar alongside Jimi Hendrix himself? We can do high-quality graphics and photo manipulation and print 24-inch wide and almost unlimited length posters in colour and black and white!Audio Conversion
Do you have an old record or cassette which you want to preserve on CD? We can convert it for you and provide you with high-quality filtering to eliminate the hiss, clicks and pops an old record or cassette may come with. We also do limited video conversion (for example, VHS to DVD) which we plan to expand more fully in the near future.T-shirts and Boots
